ConsensusLab
+1

InterPlanetary Consensus (IPC) is a transformative blockchain architecture that enables planetary-scale performance by introducing the innovative concept of blockchains within blockchains. This pioneering approach creates infinitely scalable networks, forming dynamic tree networks of recursive blockchains, or "subnets." IPC's mission is to bridge the performance and usability gap between Web2 and Web3, powering a decentralized planetary-scale economy with unmatched speed and functionality comparable to centralized systems. Our Vision of Web3 Scalability with IPC

Speaker: Juan Benet, CEO of Protocol Labs. In this talk Juan will address the issue of scalability in decentralized systems. He will highlight the current limitations of blockchains in handling vast amounts of data and computational power, hindering the development of decentralized variants of major applications like Twitter, Facebook, and Gmail. By drawing attention to the vision and goals of Web3, which aims to provide user-friendly, resilient, and open alternatives to centralized applications, allowing users to own their data and participate in self-governance, Benet will underscore the urgent need for scalable solutions. He will explore how overcoming these scalability challenges is paramount to unlocking a revolutionary set of applications for the future, fully realizing the potential of Web3.

10:30 AM - 10:50 AM

InterPlanetary Consensus: Scaling Web3 for Devs

Speaker: Parth Pathak, General Manager of IPC. This talk will describe how InterPlanetary Consensus (IPC) is a transformative blockchain stack that enables planetary-scale performance by introducing the pioneering approach of recursively scalable blockchains, with <1s transactions, infra-level compute workloads, and customizable runtime modules.
